A Proud History

Lite House was founded in 1979 by Compton and Darleen Burgess as a retail-wholesale electrical supply and lighting fixture business. The primary objective of Lite House was to serve the Alton P. Burgess Electrical Contractor, also owned by the Burgess family, by supplying wiring and other electrical supplies for new home construction.

Soon after opening, Lite House began to sell and service other electrical contractors and homebuilders. As the business grew a larger facility was built across the street from the original location.

Today, more than 25 years later, Lite House and A.P. Burgess Electrical Contractor are separate businesses, operating independently with different owners. However, Lite House continues to serve A.P. Burgess, along with many other small and large electrical contractors supplying electrical supplies and lighting fixtures for commercial and residential jobs.

Lite House is located in the Old Branch Crossing shopping center at 6381 Old Branch Ave. Our facility is perfectly designed to house and showcase a variety and large supply of electrical supplies and lighting fixtures for the small and large homebuilders, electrical contractors and homeowners that we serve.
